LEESBURG
Located in Central Florida between Lake Harris and Lake Griffin, Leesburg is a progressive city with more than 23,000 residents. Leesburg is commonly known as the “Lakefront City” and acts as a central hub for commerce in Lake County which draws in more than 50,000 people each day for work.
The town was first settled in the 1850s by Evander Lee, after which Leesburg was ultimately named after. Leesburg is the oldest city in Lake County and at one time was the county seat while it was a part of Sumter County.
